Pipeline Surf Cam

Watch Pipeline in real-time, all year long on this webcam. The camera moves around giving you different angles of this stunning beach and ocean, along with live audio.

Pipeline Cam powered by EXPLORE.org

Pipeline is one of the most popular surf spots in the world, known for its perfect heavy barrels. It's a surfer's paradise and dream wave!

The surf season runs from late September to April, and during the summer months, Pipeline transforms into a calm and beautiful place to enjoy the beach and go for a swim.

This surf spot is situated on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, between Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach.

Waimea Bay Webcam

Watch the Waimea Bay cam live all year long! This webcam offers stunning views of the beach, shore break, and the iconic jumping rock in real-time.

Waimea Webcam status

The Waimea live stream is temporarily down due to construction in the area, including roof and bathroom repairs. We'll resume streaming as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!

Waimea Bay is located just a short drive from Haleiwa Town and approximately an hour's drive from Waikiki or Honolulu.

It is known for its giant waves during the winter months, making it one of the most famous surfing spots in the world. Also, a prestigious surfing competition known as 'The Eddie' is held here when the waves reach heights over 40 feet.

In the summer or when the surf is small, Waimea is beautiful for swimming, snorkeling, or just lounging on the beach with the family. You may even see dolphins hanging around in the bay!

For more info and local tips, check out our Waimea Bay Beach Park guide.

North Shore Webcams

Sunset at Haleiwa Beach Park

Beyond the Pipeline webcam and Waimea Bay, you have the option to watch several beaches in Hawaii live on a website called Surfline.

Surfline's webcams are not free, but they offer a few seconds free in between ads, or you can play them uninterruptedly with a membership.

We really enjoy watching the Haleiwa surf cam at Ali'i Beach Park, which offers two different live angles of the surf, and the Sunset Beach surf cam.

New Live Cam

We are always looking to add more free live cams to this page.

If you have a live camera on your house overlooking the beach on the North Shore or Haleiwa and would like it featured here, please contact us.

Favorite travel companies

Not sure which companies to book with? After years of travel, I’ve tried hundreds - some great, some not. Here are the ones I keep coming back to for the best deals and reliable experiences. Use them to book your trip too!

  • ✈️ Airfare: Expedia is my all-time favorite flight search engine. It always seems to find the best deals, and it searches the small booking sites that no one else does, so you get the lowest prices.
  • 🏠 Accommodations: Booking.com is where I usually look when I need a place to stay. You can see hotels, condos, or vacation rentals for pretty much any budget, check out real guest reviews, and a lot of them let you cancel for free if your plans change.
  • 🚗 Transportation: When I book a rental, I use Discover Cars. It compares a wide range of companies, consistently gives me the best prices I’ve found, and lets you cancel for free up to 48 hours before pickup.
  • 🌴 Tour Companies: Viator is great for booking tours and activities. They’ve got tons of options on the North Shore, Oahu, and the other islands - everything from snorkeling and luaus to circle-island tours. It’s an easy way to see what’s available and book the tours you want.
  • 🛡️ Travel Insurance: World Nomads offers comprehensive plans for adventurous travelers who plan to do things like hiking, kayaking, and surfing. With 200 different activities covered, it's the best choice for active travelers.
  • 📱 SIM Cards: I usually go with Saily or SimOptions when I travel. Both are made for travelers who want affordable, flexible mobile data. They’re easy to set up, let you avoid roaming fees while keeping your regular SIM active, and give you high-speed 4G/5G data in many places, perfect for staying connected on the go.

Hi Deborah, right now they’re doing some construction in the building at Waimea Bay where the camera is mounted. Hopefully the construction will be done soon! For now, you can watch the Pipeline camera live.
